Sorry Spike Lee, Tyler Perry is still WINNING..!!  First Tyler Perry "Madea Big Happy Family" came in 2nd place with 27.5 million at the box office over the weekend.

Now Tyler Perry is bringing another television series to TBS. On Tuesday, the cable network picked up 10 episodes of a new dramedy from the director-producer-actor called For Better or For Worse, a spin off project from his popular Why Did I Get Married? film franchise.

The show will follow the ups-and-downs of married life for Marcus and Angela, two characters who originated in the feature films ‘Why Did I Get Married‘ and ‘Why Did I Get Married Too?‘ Additional cast members will be announced in the upcoming months and the show is set to start taping on Tyler Perry studios in ATL this Summer.
