Fans are pointing out the Lauren Conrad, the shows protagonist, was not really a good friend and was quite self-centered and judgmental. It is quite telling that in 2021, Lauren Conrad is not friends with any of her Hills costars, in fact, after filming wrapped, Lauren stopped talking to all of them.
Heidi Montag said that Kristin Cavallari is way more successful than Lauren Conrad. Unlike Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari is still friends with her former costars, except, of course, LC! Heidi Montag also said, "Lauren didn't make it like she should have." Lauren Conrad has a successful line at Kohls, but other than that, she stays out of the limelight.
