The Fixx - Shuttered Room

On this date in 1982, The Fixx released their debut album, Shuttered Room. It contained the singles, "Stand Or Fall" (#54 U.K., #76 U.S.), "Some Thing" and "Red Skies" (#57 U.K.). The album, itself, reached the #54 spot on the U.K. albums chart and the #106 spot on the U.S. albums chart. The London new wave band had previously released two singles as The Portraits and one as The Fix. After a break, The Fixx are active again.
